National Weather Service predicts severe storms in northern Ohio

Severe weather is possible across northern Ohio on Wednesday.

The National Weather Service believes there is a “slight” risk of severe thunderstorms this afternoon as a low pressure system moves across the state.

The greatest danger is destructive winds and heavy rainfall. Isolated tornadoes are possible.

Thunderstorms are expected between 4 and 11 p.m.

What is the prognosis?

Wednesday: Chance of rain and thunderstorms, especially after 4 p.m. Mostly cloudy, high around 27 °C. South wind 16 to 21 km/h. Chance of precipitation 30%. Nine precipitation amounts between 0.25 and 0.25 mm, but higher amounts are possible in thunderstorms.
