State police investigate after deputy sheriff in Crowley shot person; 2 deputies injured

CROWLEY, Louisiana (KPLC) – An investigation is ongoing after an Acadia Parish officer shot a person in Crowley Monday afternoon.

The Louisiana State Police Bureau of Investigations was called to investigate a shooting at the corner of South Avenue H and Magnolia Street on June 3 at 5 p.m. The person shot did not suffer life-threatening injuries, according to LSP.

According to LSP, two officers were also injured in the incident, although their injuries were not life-threatening.
