Less wind is also expected over the next seven days as temperatures continue to rise across the region.

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) – Seasonal hot and dry weather conditions will continue through early next week, with temperatures 3 to 5 degrees above normal.

Starting in the middle or second half of next week, the high pressure system is expected to strengthen across much of the Western U.S. This will lead to higher temperatures, with highs reaching nearly 110 degrees Fahrenheit (43 degrees Celsius) in the low-elevation deserts.
