At least one person died after an accident on the Mountain View Corridor

RIVERTON — At least one person was killed in a traffic accident on the Mountain View Corridor early Thursday morning, police said.

The southbound Mountain View Corridor was closed at 13400 South for several hours while investigators were on scene. It had partially reopened as of 6 a.m. Thursday.

Police have not yet determined the identity of the person killed and have not released any further information about the accident. KSL TV has reached out to police for more information.
