One dead after single-vehicle motorcycle accident in Guernsey County

CAMBRIDGE, Ohio (WCMH) – A Coshocton man was killed in a solo motorcycle accident Sunday afternoon.

The crash occurred at 2:50 p.m. in Guernsey County, according to a news release from the Ohio State Highway Patrol. The news release states that a 2003 Harley-Davidson motorcycle driven by Raymond Guinther, 73, was traveling northbound on Eighth Street Road before it went off the right side of the road. The motorcycle struck a ditch, ejecting Guinther and causing the vehicle to roll over. Guinther was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Cambridge Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating the accident.
