Yoo Ah In strongly denies making allegations of sexual harassment

JAKARTA – Yoo Ah In’s lawyer Park Jung Hyun has denied reports by Yongsan police of sexual harassment against Yoo Ah In. The allegations came shortly after Yoo Ah In was sentenced to four years in prison on drug charges on Thursday, July 25.

The star of the series Hellbound was accused of sexually harassing a 30-year-old man with the initials A. However, Yoo Ah In denied this through his lawyer Park Jung Hyun and confirmed that the allegations were not true.

“We clarify that the allegations in the complaint are not true,” Park Jung Hyun said on Friday, July 26, as quoted by Soompi.

The lawyer also urged the public to refrain from various unfounded speculations about Yoo Ah In’s private life.

“In addition, we ask that you refrain from unnecessary speculation about his (Yoo Ah In) personal life,” Park Jung Hyun added.

In his allegations, A claimed that Yoo Ah In abused him while he was sleeping in an apartment in Yongsan, Seoul District, South Korea. He said that they were not alone at the time, but that several other men were at the same location.

Police have launched an investigation into the report of Yoo Ah In’s sexual harassment allegations, looking into the possibility that Yoo Ah In committed the crime while under the influence of drugs.
