After the game, Seattle placed first baseman Ty France on waivers, according to Ryan Divish of the Seattle Times. If France is released and not signed by another team, the Mariners can release him, keep him on their roster or send him to the minor leagues.

Seattle hosts the Angels in the first of three games tonight at 6:40 p.m. on ROOT Sports Northwest.
