PA Sprint Car Team involved in accident on the way to Port Royal Speedway

Members of the Zemco Racing sprint car team were involved in an accident en route to Port Royal Speedway on Saturday afternoon. Zemco Racing, which currently fields sprint cars for driver Chase Dietz, was en route to the track for Saturday night’s race.

Port Royal Speedway confirmed via the track’s social media pages that the team was involved in the accident.

At this time, there are no confirmed reports regarding those involved in the accident or the severity of the injuries.

Chase Dietz was scheduled to enter Saturday night as the current Sprint Car points leader with 410 points. Dietz currently leads Mike Wagner by 125 points despite not having won an A-Main at the track this season.
