Despite reports of explosions, there are no security incidents in the Israeli port of Eilat

The Israeli army reported that there were no security incidents in its southernmost city of Eilat.

There had previously been reports that there might have been an explosion.

“Investigations show that no shots were fired in the city area and, consequently, no interceptors were launched,” the army said on X. “There is no fear of a security incident.”
