1 pedestrian dead after traffic accident in Temple

TEMPLE, Texas (KXXV) — One person died in Temple Wednesday afternoon after he was struck as a pedestrian by an SUV that was turning at a traffic light in the area of ​​31st Street and Scott Boulevard.

At around 10:04 a.m., Temple police officers were called to a traffic accident. The man was taken to a nearby hospital with life-threatening injuries.

According to Temple Police, the pedestrian was pronounced dead at around 10:32 a.m. – the vehicle and driver remained on scene for investigation.
