Welcome to Atlanta, where the best players will play next summer.

As this year’s Midsummer Classic wraps up Tuesday night, it’s time to start looking ahead to the 2025 All-Star Game, which will be held at Truist Park. This will be the third time Atlanta has hosted the event and the first time since the game was held at Turner Field in 2000.

“Everyone is excited and believes we are ready to make this the best All-Star Game in Major League Baseball history,” Braves president and general manager Derek Schiller said.

Schiller and about 30 members of his organization have spent the last few days in Texas, enjoying this year’s All-Star festivities and developing ideas for next year. The event extends well beyond the game played by the National League and American League All-Stars.

MLB hosts many community events and showcases top prospects each year at the Futures Game. The MLB Draft has become part of the All-Star Game festivities, and the Home Run Derby remains one of the most popular events.

This year, the draft was held at the Cowtown Coliseum, a rodeo venue in Fort Worth. The Braves will look to add their own local flavor to some of those same events.
