Officers extinguish vehicle fire on I-75. Police discover dead man inside – WSB-TV Channel 2

BARTOW COUNTY, Ga. – The Georgia Bureau of Investigation is trying to determine what led to the death of a man found in a car on Interstate 75.

On Sunday, around 7:30 a.m., Bartow County officials were called to a vehicle fire on the south shoulder of I-75.

When officers arrived, they found a dead person in the car.

Investigators do not currently believe that anyone else was at fault.

LATEST STORIES:

The body was taken to the GBI Medical Examiner’s Office for an autopsy. Once the victim’s identity is confirmed, his name will be released.
