UTV accident in Chambers County leaves one injured | Texas

BAYTOWN, Texas — On Thursday evening, a serious accident occurred between a small sedan and a side-by-side UTV, injuring the UTV driver.

According to Sheriff Brian Hawthorne, Chambers County deputies arrived at the scene of the crash at the intersection of FM 3180 and FM 565 at approximately 9:24 p.m. The collision occurred as the UTV was leaving a local fireworks stand and was struck by the sedan. The driver of the UTV required medical attention and was transported in stable condition.

While the Texas Department of Public Safety conducted the accident investigation, all northbound lanes were temporarily closed due to debris.
