Bike accident: Fatal motorcycle accident in Hyderabad | News from Hyderabad

Hyderabad: An engineering student died and another was seriously injured when their motorcycle crashed into an electricity pole in Jillelguda on Saturday night. According to police, Vamshi and his friend were travelling towards Jillelguda when the incident occurred. When the motorcycle reached the Gram Panchayat office in Jillelguda, Vamshi, who was riding the motorcycle, lost control of it and crashed into an electricity pole. Vamshi died on the spot while his friend, who was riding pillion, sustained injuries and is currently undergoing treatment. The force of the impact was so severe that the motorcycle was demolished. According to police, CCTV footage confirmed that the accident was probably caused due to overspeeding. Both were second year BTech students at a local engineering college. Police took up the case and started investigation.
