Man stabbed in Adventureland Park; 1 in custody

According to Suffolk Police, a man was stabbed following an argument at Adventureland amusement park on Sunday.

Suffolk Police said the victim was in serious condition and one person had been taken into custody.

A spokesman said in a statement that there had been an altercation in the park between two families “as a result of an external dispute” in which the victim was stabbed multiple times.

The statement added that the park’s security service intervened to secure the scene and called the police.

The spokesman said the park in the area would remain closed until police completed their investigation.

The rest of the park will be open during regular hours the rest of Sunday night and Monday.
