Atlanta police searching for suspect who allegedly struck victim with gun, fled – WSB-TV Channel 2

ATLANTA — The Atlanta Police Department is asking the public to be on the lookout for a man they say struck a man with a gun and fled the scene.

On Tuesday, July 2, police responded to a call about an armed person at 807 Conley Road in southeast Atlanta.

When officers arrived, a man was suffering from a cut to the head. Authorities said the man was alert, conscious and breathing and was transported to Grady Hospital.

During the investigation, police say the person of interest entered a location, made contact with the victim, struck him with a pistol and left the scene.
