Ohio man dead after motorcycle accident in Licking County

BUCKEYE LAKE, Ohio (WCMH) – One person is dead following a fatal motorcycle crash Monday evening.

According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, Alexander Snider, 21, of Somerset, was driving a 2022 Suzuki motorcycle on Cristland Hill Road near Buckeye Lake when the vehicle went off the left side of the highway on a curve. The vehicle struck the embankment at about 6:03 p.m.


The driver, who was wearing a helmet, was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics. The Highway Patrol was assisted at the scene by the Licking County Sheriff’s Office and a fire/emergency response team.

Police are still investigating the accident. They said they advise motorcyclists to wear helmets approved by the Department of Transport.
