Buffalo Bills receive ‘B+’ grade from NFL.com

The Buffalo Bills earned a B-plus grade for their 2024 NFL Draft haul on NFL.com.

It’s a solid brand, but it’s in the middle of the pack. Each team received a grade for the work completed. In terms of the B-plus that Buffalo received, there were still 15 other teams in the league that received a higher grade of A or A-minus.

Where it appears the Bills have lost some credit is when it comes to their trades made in the first round. Buffalo moved out of the first round entirely in two separate trades and the strong sentiment going into those deals was that the Bills should have gotten more in return.

The full breakdown of bills can be found below:

Buffalo found the potential receiver it needed in Coleman after losing twice in the first round (for a relatively small gain). It will be interesting to see if dealing with the Chiefs so Kansas City can pick speedy pass catcher Xavier Worthy comes back to bite the Bills. Bishop should be a good starter. Carter adds determination and leadership to the defensive line, even if he was picked a little earlier than expected.

Davis’ tenacity as a runner is the perfect complement to James Cook. I projected Van Pran-Granger to the Bills a little later in the fifth round in my last mock draft, but he was still good value for a solid center. Getting a 2025 fourth-round pick for a fifth-rounder this year in a trade with the Bears will pay dividends in the future. Solomon is smaller than most Bills Edge Rushers, but he gets to the quarterback. Hardy could be a nickel candidate and is a strong return man.
