Presidential Debate Watch Party Shows Support for POTUS Biden

The first presidential debate in Atlanta for the 2024 presidential election between POTUS Joe Biden and former President Donald Trump got off to a rocky start.

At a viewing party at the Hyatt Regency Atlanta, Biden supporters showed up in their “Let’s Go Joe,” “Biden-Harris” and “Women for Biden” T-shirts. The energy was high from the start of the debate. There was not a single dull moment during the viewing party.

With high energy music and food, Biden supporters were eager to begin the debate. The crowd was full of smiles and hope for the first night of a long election season

During the debate, many Biden supporters cheered and shouted “Let’s Go Joe” during his turn. Additionally, when Trump tried to rebut, many supporters booed him and shouted “F”s at the viewing screen.

Most of the time during the debate, when Trump spoke, the crowd shouted in anger and booed loudly.

The crowd was loudest when Biden refuted Trump’s statements about overturning Roe V. Wade, and Biden said he supported the law. The crowd whistled, screamed and clapped as loudly as they could when Biden said those words.

For a moment during the vigil, around 9:40 p.m., the stream stopped, upsetting the crowd, but it was quickly turned back on.

Additionally, people shouted “shut up” during Trump’s tour, and one supporter said, “he talks like an idiot.”

A Biden supporter said that if Trump is elected as an individual with 34 felonies, then the American people should protest to give other felons the opportunity to vote and get jobs. Many POTUS supporters showed up to the first presidential debate and some held signs of support.

At the end of the debate, reactions were mixed, with some people saying Biden struggled to express his views and didn’t fight back much against Trump, and others saying he struggled at first but got a little better about halfway through.

After the debate, the crowd gathered to loud music. The crowd shouting “Four more years” proves that people want Biden in power again instead of Trump.

Additionally, POTUS and FLOTUS, Jill Biden, showed up briefly at the after-party to speak with the crowd. POTUS said he will get rid of Trump, but he needs the help of all his supporters and the American people to get rid of him.

As Biden and First Lady were eager to take photos with the crowd, Beyoncé’s cover of Before I Let Go started playing and everyone went wild. In the crowd, there was also a large “JOE” ​​sign that caught the president’s attention, which brought a big smile to his face.

The next debate will be held in Atlanta on September 10 at 9 p.m. The presidential election will be held on Tuesday, November 5.
