The heat index increases this weekend

High temperatures will warm up this weekend, as will our humidity. Due to higher humidity, the heat index will approach 100 degrees over the weekend and next week, so be sure to stay in the shade and drink plenty of water if you stay outside for a long period.

The same increase in humidity will also bring a slight chance of rain each afternoon starting Sunday.
