Ten people arrested in Milledgeville for weapons and drug offenses

As part of the investigation, agents seized weapons and drugs as part of the search warrants.

MILLEDGEVILLE, Georgia – Ten people from Milledgeville are in custody following a four-month drug investigation, according to a news release from the Georgia Bureau of Investigation.

On June 12, the Middle Georgia Gang Task Force (MGGTF) arrested six individuals involved in drug trafficking in Milledgeville. These arrests led to four additional arrests on drug and weapons charges.

During the searches, agents seized three handguns, three rifles, about a pound of suspected marijuana, about an ounce of suspected cocaine, a bottle of suspected codeine and a gun switch, the press release said.

The charges are as follows:

  • Juan Diego Hartry, 48, of Milledgeville, GA, charged with trafficking and distribution of methamphetamine.
  • Kirk Patrick Mosley, 51, of Milledgeville, GA, charged with two counts of first-degree arson.
  • Trinity Amen Garcia, 17, of Milledgeville, GA, charged with trafficking cocaine.
  • Kayleigh Ann Larimore, 19, of Milledgeville, GA, charged with trafficking cocaine.
  • Charles Gene Cook, 56, of Milledgeville, GA, charged with sale of methamphetamine.
  • Crystal Monique Mitchell, 39, of Milledgeville, GA, charged with four counts of sale of cocaine, possession of drug-related objects, possession of cocaine with intent to resell, and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony.
  • Demontea Keshawn Bundrage, 18, of Milledgeville, GA, charged with possession of marijuana with intent to resell, three counts of possession of a weapon during the commission of a felony, possession of a Schedule V substance, possession of drug-related objects and tampering with evidence.
  • Javan Tashawn Mitchell, 21, of Milledgeville, GA, charged with possession of marijuana with intent to resell, three counts of possession of a weapon during the commission of a felony, possession of a Schedule V substance, possession of drug-related objects and tampering with evidence.
  • Davin Jamond Mitchell, 22, of Milledgeville, GA, charged with possession of marijuana with intent to resell, three counts of possession of a weapon during the commission of a felony, possession of a Schedule V substance, possession of drug-related objects and tampering with evidence.
  • Lucille Peggy Mitchell, 63, of Milledgeville, GA, charged with possession of marijuana with intent to resell, three counts of possession of a weapon during the commission of a felony, possession of a Schedule V substance, possession of drug-related objects and tampering with evidence.

They say the authorities involved launched the investigation “to impact current drug trafficking and gang activity in central Georgia and create a safer place for productive citizens.”
