Police: Man shoots burglar in Commerce City

DENVER (KDVR) — Police say a burglary in Commerce City overnight turned fatal.

According to Commerce City police, the break-in occurred Saturday night in the 5300 block of East 64th Avenue.

According to police, the resident said he was “attacked by an unknown intruder.” He shot and killed the intruder.

Further details were not immediately available. Police said the suspected intruder will be identified by the Adams County Coroner.
