The Amber Alert issued Tuesday evening for a 15-year-old girl from Iowa City has been lifted. The alert was issued around 7 p.m. and shortly after 8 p.m. the Iowa Department of Public Safety announced the alert was lifted and the juvenile was found safe and sound. Previous reports: An AMBER Alert has been issued for a 15-year-old girl from Iowa City. The missing juvenile is identified as Ophelia Anne Barton, a 15-year-old white female, 5’10” tall and 80 pounds, with brown hair and hazel eyes. She was last seen with suspect Lindsey Anne White, a white adult female, 5’3″ tall and 165 pounds, with brown hair and gray eyes. The suspects’ vehicle is a blue 2014 Jeep Compass with Iowa license plate LIU044. Barton was last seen wearing red shorts and a short sleeve Disney shirt.

The Amber Alert issued Tuesday evening for a 15-year-old girl from Iowa City has been lifted.

The alert was issued around 7 p.m., and shortly after 8 p.m., the Iowa Department of Public Safety announced that the alert had been lifted and the teenager had been found safe and sound.
