Buffalo Grove firefighters praised for training

Last week, Buffalo Grove Fire Chief Mike Baker presented a Special Fire Chief Citation to members of Buffalo Grove Professional Firefighters and Paramedics Local 3177. They were recognized for hosting a “Fire Ops 101” training session on May 18.

The session provided village board members and staff with a hands-on, immersive experience highlighting the mental and physical strength required to be a firefighter/paramedic.

The Barrington Fire Department and members of the Barrington Village Board of Trustees were also in attendance.
