Conway man charged with sexually abusing an intoxicated minor

CONWAY, SC (WMBF) – Horry County Police arrested a Conway man last week after he allegedly sexually assaulted a minor.

Documents obtained by WMBF News show that 27-year-old Daniel Orlando was arrested and charged with second-degree sexual abuse of a minor.

The arrest stems from an incident that occurred at Alpharetta Court on June 7, according to the warrant. The document states that Orlando “allegedly committed sexual abuse against the victim by inserting his penis into her mouth and vagina.”

The arrest warrant also states that Orlando was the victim’s guardian at the time of the incident.

In a police report, the victim told an officer that she was drunk at the time of the incident.

Online records show Orlando was booked into the J. Reuben Long Detention Center on Saturday and released on $20,000 bail on Sunday.
