Police investigate fatal traffic accident backstage

Today, a deep sense of loss is felt at the Disneyland Resort following the tragic death of Bonnye Lear, who was 60 years old. There is great sadness among employees as they come to terms with the news of her untimely death.

Bonnye Lear’s unfortunate accident occurred when she fell from a golf cart in the backstage area of ​​the theme park, suffering a fatal head injury. The grim event occurred on Wednesday, June 5th at 11:30 a.m. and despite all efforts to save her, Bonnye Lear succumbed to her injuries and passed away two days later, on Friday. The entire Disneyland community is devastated by the loss of a beloved colleague and member of the Club 33 family.

According to sources close to Disneyland Resort, police are investigating the traffic accident that led to Bonnye’s death. Disneyland Resort President Ken Potorock issued a statement on the tragic death:

“We are heartbroken by the loss of Bonnye and extend our sincere condolences to everyone who cared for her. Right now, our focus is supporting her family and our cast members through this tragic event and making sure they have the resources they need.”
