Funeral of the Campbell family killed in Garner accident in Ellenboro

ELLENBORO, N.C. (WTVD) – A memorial service will be held today for the family of those killed in a fatal car accident in Garner last week.

A young couple, Tyler and Susan Campbell, and their son Miles were killed in an accident on US 70.

The funeral service will begin today at 12 noon at the Corinth Baptist Church in Ellenboro.

This is in Rutherford County, where the couple grew up.

A memorial service will be held Saturday at Summit Church on Vandora Springs Road in Garner.

The suspect in the accident, 25-year-old Jordan Porter, is now accused of three counts of first-degree murder and various other charges.

According to search warrants, Porter’s wife told investigators that he drank two or three beers and smoked marijuana before driving to work.

She also said they were aware that his car needed numerous repairs, including to the brakes and steering wheel.
