Monadnock Ledger Transcript – Mason resident killed in Milford plane crash

A Mason resident died in a car crash on Savage Road in Milford Monday evening.

According to Milford police, Walter Knights, 50, was the sole occupant of the vehicle, a 2008 Toyota Tacoma. Knights was traveling westbound downhill on Savage Road when his vehicle skidded across the road and struck a tree. Milford police, fire and EMS arrived at approximately 6:43 p.m., with assistance from Amherst and Wilton police. Knights was pronounced dead at the scene.

Savage Road was closed for three hours following the crash. Milford Police are still investigating the incident. Anyone with information about the crash is asked to contact police at 603-249-0630.
