They threatened the 20-year-old with a gun and raped him in Durrës, the 32-year-old was arrested; the brother is wanted

Arjan Gega, 32, was arrested by police, while his brother Gjin Gega, 25, was wanted after they raped and shot a 20-year-old man.

The two brothers have just found out that the 20-year-old citizen of KP (their former neighbor) has returned to Albania due to previous disputes (due to a car accident). They found the 20-year-old at a rest stop near their home and got into a conflict with him, during which one of them (the wanted citizen) threatened him with a firearm and shot him once with a pistol.

They are accused of the criminal offenses of “intimidation,” “other intentional damage to property,” “stalking,” “illicit manufacture and possession of combat weapons and ammunition,” and “disturbance of the public peace.”

The police managed to prevent the crime by going to the crime scene, while the 25-year-old immediately disappeared. The police are continuing to work to catch the wanted perpetrator.

“After receiving a report that a conflict had broken out between some citizens in the quarter no. 17/1 of Durrës and that one of them had a firearm in his possession, the police services immediately went to the address provided.

The citizen who was carrying the gun immediately left the building when he saw the police. The police are pursuing him and are continuing to conduct checks in an attempt to catch him.

Following the procedural steps in this case, the specialists of the Crime Investigation Department of the Durrës Police Station arrested the 32-year-old citizen AG red-handed and declared his brother, citizen Gj. G., 25 years old, resident of Durrës, guilty.
