North Forest VFD responded to a two-vehicle accident Monday

FORREST COUNTY, Miss. (WDAM) – First responders with the North Forrest Volunteer Fire Department received a report Monday of a two-vehicle accident with possible injuries.

Firefighters responded to Evelyn Gandy on Monroe Road around 6 p.m

Upon arrival, crews found a silver Kia passenger car with heavy damage to the front end in the southbound lane of Monroe Road, just south of the intersection.

The second vehicle was a Forrest County Sheriff’s Office Tahoe, which was located in the median east of the intersection. The Tahoe sustained minor damage.

No injuries were reported and all occupants declined medical treatment, according to North Forest VFD.

North Forest VFD said the Mississippi Highway Patrol is investigating the cause of this accident.
