Assault investigation against Kanye West pending over alleged assault

While authorities were investigating Kanye West for alleged assault, it now seems to be getting more difficult to get to the bottom of the matter. In addition, TMZ Ye reportedly spoke to law enforcement about the case, who revealed that everyone involved in the debacle has disappeared. Notably, neither twin brothers Mark and Jonnie Houston nor Ye himself have ignored authorities’ requests to cooperate with the case so it can move forward. For those who don’t know, the Chicago artist is accused of assaulting one of the two after they allegedly sexually assaulted his wife, Bianca Censori.

Furthermore, this all happened in April at the Chateau Marmont in Los Angeles and has been investigated quite closely by law enforcement. Despite claims from Kanye West’s camp, when authorities reviewed security camera footage, they found no evidence that either of the Houston twins attacked Bianca Censori. Law enforcement is reportedly hoping this all means the two parties were able to work things out privately. Apparently, there just isn’t enough going on in the case right now to refer it to the Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office.

While it’s technically still an open case, the current state of affairs suggests that a full legal resolution is unlikely to happen anytime soon. Sure, he’s no stranger to controversy and alleged atrocities himself, but seeing this dispute in a different context has some fans intrigued. We’ll see if either case gets a significant update anytime soon. But don’t count on it, because it looks like this assault investigation will remain unresolved.
