Sheriff investigates Oakhurst murder

Oak wood–The Madera County Sheriff’s Department reports that it has units in Oakhurst this morning investigating a homicide. Just before 10:30 a.m. on Friday, May 24, the Madera County Sheriff’s Communications Center received a call requesting medical assistance at a residence in 42000 block of Shady Lane in Oakhurst.

When officers and emergency responders arrived on scene, they found an adult man who was later pronounced dead.
