Lewiston man arrested for aggravated assault after stabbing | Idaho

LEWISTON – Lewiston Police Detectives arrested 20-year-old Torquil E. McIntosh of Lewiston after officers responded to a report of a man stabbed to death at a residence in the 200 block of South Garden Court at approximately 8:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 23, 2024.

Officers arrested McIntosh upon arrival at the scene in South Garden Court and subsequently assisted detectives in interviewing witnesses and collecting evidence.

The victim, a 32-year-old Lewiston man, was taken to St. Joseph Medical Center and treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

McIntosh was taken to the Lewiston Police Department for questioning, then arrested and booked into the Nez Perce County Jail on a charge of aggravated assault.
