An investigation into the carjacking and shooting in Jennings is ongoing

JENNINGS, Mo. – Police are investigating after they were called to a report of a carjacking and shooting Monday evening.

According to police, the incident occurred in the 5300 block of Fletcher St. in Jennings around 8:45 p.m. Upon arrival, police discovered a man suffering from a gunshot wound.

The victim was transported to the hospital. There is no information available about his current condition.

According to the police, there are currently no suspicious indications.
