  • Sean “Diddy” Combs of a suspected hotel attack on Cassie Ventura appeared in 2016.
  • Two days after the incident, the former couple walked the red carpet together in LA.
  • Pagesix reported that photos of the event seem to show bruises.

The singer Casandra “Cassie” Ventura was photographed days after a suspected physical attack by Sean “Diddy” Combs in an attack in 2016 that was recorded on video, with apparently blue spots on legs and arms.

In newly appeared surveillance recordings that CNN has received, it can be seen how the music mogul – against which a cascade of allegations for sexual assault has been raised in recent months – grabs, pushes, pushes, pulls up in a hallway in a hallway and kicks hotel in Los Angeles.

The footage from March 5, 2016, compiled from multiple camera angles, coincides with an alleged incident of physical violence that Cassie described in the lawsuit she filed against the rapper in November 2023.

Two days after the attack, the former couple visited the premiere of Ventura’s film “A Perfect Match”, where they were photographed and smiling in the cameras.

Photos from the evening also show that the “Me & U” singer may have had several minor bruises on her body.

For the red carpet, Ventura wore a gold-black, floor-length dress that exposed her back and arms. Later in the evening she attracted a green mini dress that brought her legs into its own.

Page Six shared images showing where he believes the bruises are. However, it is not confirmed whether the bruises were a result of the incident two days earlier.

Ventura did not respond to a request for comment from Business Insider sent outside of regular business hours. Her attorney, Douglas H. Wigdor, shared a statement with CNN regarding the unearthed CCTV footage.

“The heartbreaking video has only further confirmed Mr. Combs’ disturbing and predatory behavior,” he said. “Words cannot express the courage and fortitude Ms. Ventura showed when she came to light.”

The footage, released by the outlet on Friday, shows Combs leaving a hotel room with a towel around his waist to follow his then-girlfriend down a hallway at the InterContinental Hotel in Century City.

When he reaches Ventura on the elevators, he grabs her on the neck, throws her to the ground, steps twice and pulls her over the floor on her hoodie.

After he has been canceled and left, Combs returns and continues his attack by pushing Ventura and sitting on a chair before throws an object in its direction.

Although this could not be seen in the film material, CNN reported that Combs ended his attack when one of the elevator doors opened and someone seemed to get out.

In her lawsuit, which was submitted to the Federal Court in Manhattan on November 16, 2023, Ventura reported an incident that occurred in the hotel room of the now closed hotel, and explained that a drunk combs “hit her face and her a blue eye added.”

“After he had fallen asleep, Ms. Ventura tried to leave the hotel room, but when she left it, Mr. Combs woke up and started to shout Ms. Ventura,” says the application. “He followed her into the hotel hallway while shouting at her. He grabbed her, then took glass vases in the hallway and threw her on her, which led to the class around her struggling together when she ran to the elevator to escape. “

Elsewhere in the lawsuit, Ventura accused Combs of perpetuating a “cycle of abuse,” raping her in her home and forcing her to engage in sexual acts with male sex workers.

However, Ventura and Combs — who had an on-again, off-again relationship from 2007 to 2018 — agreed to a settlement a day after the lawsuit was filed, according to The New York Times, although the details of the agreement were not publicly disclosed.
