3 people arrested during State Liquor Authority compliance check at Huntington Station deli

Three people were arrested Friday evening after police conducted a State Liquor Authority compliance check at a deli in Huntington Station.

Police said the stop was conducted in response to community complaints about Las Lajas Deli at 156 Depot Road.

According to the authorities, the officers arrived for a check at around 9 p.m. An employee of the deli was charged with a misdemeanor following the inspection.

According to police, another employee was charged with an active warrant. A guest at the deli now also faces an active arrest warrant and a drug offense.

According to authorities, several violations were found at the company. Due to the inspection, the deli was closed for the night.
