Tuesday’s forecast:

It feels good this morning! Temperatures are in the 60s with low humidity that persists all day. We have a dense fog advisory in effect until 8 a.m. for areas west and north of Houston. The rest of the day is sunny and warm with a high temperature expected at 90°.

Next round of severe storms Thursday:

After a two-day break, the storms return Thursday. Similar to our recent storm systems, this one brings a high threat of flooding. The threat is highest in our northern cities, but we all face at least some threat of street flooding. We also face a serious weather threat. Damaging winds and hail are possible throughout Southeast Texas, with the highest threat northwest of Houston.

There could be some lingering rain on Friday, but nothing serious is expected. Starting this weekend, we are heading into a much more stable, storm-free weather pattern. But it’s also a summer pattern with heat and humidity starting this weekend.
