Lloyd Street shooting sends one to the hospital, one to prison

PHILADELPHIA, PA – A 30-year-old man was shot in the rear right shoulder at 2500 Lloyd Street early Thursday morning. After the incident, which occurred at 7:53 a.m., the injured man was taken to Presbyterian Hospital by police.

He is currently in stable condition. Authorities have secured the crime scene and recovered a firearm from the victim, who is now being held as a prisoner in the hospital.

The suspect’s name has not been released at this time.
