Toronto police seek suspects in theft investigation

Toronto Police are asking the public for help in identifying suspects allegedly involved in an attempted theft case.

According to police, the incidents occurred on Saturday, July 20, at 1:30 p.m. in the area of ​​Yonge Street and Sheppard Avenue. There, police said, a male and female suspect approached an elderly man in his driveway and asked for directions.

The woman then allegedly attempted to remove items from the victim’s pockets before walking away and approaching another elderly neighbor with the male suspect.

According to police, the suspects did not take anything from the first victim’s pockets.

They identified the man as being between 35 and 43 years old, of medium build, with black hair and a beard. He was wearing a white T-shirt and white pants at the time of the attempted theft, police said.

The woman is described as being around 30 years old, of a strong build and with tattoos on her arms. According to police, she was wearing a floral dress at the time of the incident.
