Battery Power TV: Atlanta Braves enter All-Star break with midway questions to answer

The Atlanta Braves remain firmly in the wild card race with hopes of making a run in the National League East, but can they find consistency in the second half of the season?

Atlanta’s offense has had its ups and downs, but there are some encouraging signs that have the club thinking about what exactly it should do at the trade deadline. While the Braves would no doubt like to add some punch, which clubs will be sellers with so many National League teams still very much in the wild-card race?

Atlanta’s unlikely trio of All-Stars is ready to spring into action. Newcomers Chris Sale and Reynaldo Lopez have been mainstays in the rotation while Marcell Ozuna has been the driving force behind the Braves’ lineup. Just a year after sending a franchise-best eight players to the Midsummer Classic, the Braves are sending three completely different players to Arlington.

Grant McAuley and Kris Willis discuss it all and preview the first-half series finale as the Braves visit the San Diego Padres on this edition of BPTV.
