Police say Child was stabbed during a domestic dispute in Portsmouth

PORTSMOUTH, Va. – A minor was stabbed to death in Portsmouth early Tuesday, according to police.

Portsmouth police said they responded to a domestic dispute in the 200 block of Dale Drive around 1:10 a.m. When officers arrived, they found a “juvenile” girl with a stab wound.

She was taken to a hospital for treatment.

Police did not reveal the girl’s age or provide further details about the circumstances of the crime.

The incident is under investigation.
