Several people were injured in an accident in Canosia Township on Monday evening

According to the St. Louis County Sheriff’s Office, first responders arrived to a crash in Canosia Township around 10 p.m. Monday night involving a side-by-side all-terrain vehicle. The accident occurred at N. Pike Lake Road and Helm Road.

Four people were taken to Duluth hospitals with injuries. A 17-year-old female suffered life-threatening injuries, while the three others suffered non-life-threatening injuries. The accident is currently under investigation by the St. Louis County Sheriff’s Office. They assume that alcohol had an influence on the accident.
