Arizona man arrested for third DUI offense | News

SIOUX CENTER – A 37-year-old Yuma, Arizona man was arrested in Sioux Center at approximately 11:40 p.m. on Saturday, June 29. He is charged with driving under the influence (three offenses) and failure to run a red light.

The arrest of Michael Patrick Walker occurred after a 2020 Honda Fit was stopped on Highway 75 near Fourth Street Northeast for failing to stop at a red light, according to the Sioux County Sheriff’s Office.

Walker had bloodshot/watery eyes, balance issues, slurred speech, and smelled of alcoholic beverages. According to the incident report, he said he had left a bar.
