How you can help: Donate to the children of the woman who died in the car accident in Gonzales

GONZALES, Louisiana (BRPROUD) – A GoFundMe campaign has been launched to help the family of a woman who died in a car accident in Gonzales on Saturday, June 29.

According to Gonzales Police, 38-year-old Jennifer Davenport was driving on U.S. Highway 61 when she collided with a 2007 Mazda 5.

According to police, Davenport was not wearing a seatbelt and was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.

A GoFundMe campaign has been set up to help her husband Ira and their six children. According to the fundraiser’s description, the children are between 16 and one year old. Donations will also benefit her mother and sister.

If you are unable to donate, please pray for her family and friends as Jennifer will be greatly missed by many,” the GoFundMe page said.

As of 6:28 p.m. Tuesday, $2,975 of the $10,000 goal has been raised. Donate to GoFundMe here.
