Charlotte woman arrested after filming sex with 4-year-old

CHARLOTTE, NC (WBTV) – A woman is facing numerous charges for allegedly performing sexual acts with a 4-year-old girl and filming it, according to Mecklenburg County court records.

According to the arrest warrants, 24-year-old Rhonna Jasmiya Horton, a Charlotte resident, engaged in the “lewd and lascivious” acts to “arouse and gratify sexual desire.” The warrants say some of the acts were captured on video.

Horton was charged with numerous crimes, including seven counts of first-degree sexual exploitation of a minor, four counts of sexual offenses against a child by an adult, and four counts of indecent conduct against a child.

Prison records show she was arrested last week.

According to court documents, she appeared in court on Monday and was assigned a public defender. At that appearance, her bail was set at $1 million.
