Report: Jocelyn Nungaray, 12, was sexually abused before she was allegedly murdered by two illegal immigrants

Little Jocelyn Nungaray was sexually abused before she was allegedly killed by two illegal immigrants and her body dumped in a Houston bayou, a report said Monday.

Jocelyn, 12, was abused for two hours before being strangled. She was found naked from the waist down with her hands tied behind her back on June 17.

The Houston Forensic Science Center confirmed that Jocelyn was sexually assaulted during the attack, KTRK reported Monday.

The results were sent to the public prosecutor’s office, the broadcaster reported.

Franklin Jose Pena Ramos, 26, and Johan Jose Rangel Martinez, 21, were charged with capital crimes after allegedly luring Jocelyn to a bridge and then brutally killing her, court documents show.

Both defendants had entered the United States illegally through the southern border in recent months. Both were released by federal immigration authorities.

The prosecution was waiting for the outcome of the sex crimes case, as this could potentially result in the death penalty in Jocelyn’s case.

Without the positive test result, the charge was not subject to the death penalty because Texas law does not allow the death penalty for victims of Jocelyn’s age.
