Michael Jordan’s ex-wife Juanita breaks her silence on reports of car theft: “The security forces would be absolutely at their limit”

In an interview in 1992, Michael Jordan said he wanted to retire from public life. Its airiness has avoided the glitz and glamour since his retirement, making only a few appearances. Yet, there is never enough controversy in media coverage, not only surrounding MJ, but also his family. Be it the DPOY dispute, Marcus’ current relationship status, or a recent car theft involving Juanita. However, Michael Jordan’s ex-wife has corrected the false media reports. Her daughter has also criticized the reports.

On her Instagram account, Juanita Vanoy uploaded two posts to clarify the rumors about the incident. First, she pointed out that she does not currently live in Chicago nor does she drive a Rolls Royce. She explained that she does not own a Rolls Royce and if she did, she would not drive it. She has a driver and security personnel and “The driver in question and the security guards would be in absolute trouble – TRUST!

Juanita had advice for people as she has been in the spotlight for decades.”1. Don’t believe ANYTHING you read. 2. Don’t believe ANYTHING you hear. 3. Only believe HALF of what you see.” The headline of the article was “WHAT HAPPENED TO RESPONSIBLE MEDIA COVERAGE? AN ARTICLE ON ANOTHER PLATFORM REPORTED SOME THINGS WRONG:

Previously, Amy Jacobson of Chicago’s Morning Answer reported on X: “Juanita Jordan, the ex-wife of Michael Jordan, was the victim of a carjacking in front of her home in Chicago.“She also added that Juanita’s white Rolls Royce, her car, her wallet and her keys were stolen. She even suggested that two African-Americans were the suspects and were being sought by the police. Not only Juanita, but also her daughter condemned the reporting.

Jasmine Jordan comes to her mother’s aid

560theanswer, do better!! Since Amy doesn’t have her own page where I can address her directly,” said Jasmine Jordan. The youngest child of Juanita and Michael Jordan also explained why the reports were not true. She said in her Instagram story, which Juanita later posted, that she was by her mother’s side and there was no carjacking incident.

She reiterated her mother’s point of view and continued: “Play with someone else! GTFOH.“Although Juanita provided clarifications, her ex-husband has remained silent on this controversy. Juanita later shared the same on her page and wrote: “If your daughter doesn’t play with you!!”

The month of June has its ups and downs for the Jordans. Even though it was Juanita’s birthday month, the controversy surrounding MJ and his DPOY position dominated the internet since the beginning of the month.

Tom Haberstroh of Yahoo Sports questioned the 1987-88 statistics when Michael Jordan was named Defensive Player of the Year. Haberstroh suggested that the numbers were falsified to support MJ. The 6-time NBA champion seems to have no interest in talking about his DPOY’s accusation. On the contrary, his ex-wife Juanita made sure to provide the current context of the accident that was misreported.
