A multi-vehicle accident involving a Flagstaff police vehicle caused a traffic jam Friday afternoon – KAFF News – Flagstaff

A multi-vehicle crash with injuries involving a Flagstaff police vehicle caused a backup at the intersection of Route 66 and Fourth Street Friday afternoon. Police say an officer came out of the scene to assist another officer who was traveling with a person who had an arrest warrant for a violent crime. At approximately 12:44 p.m., the officer’s vehicle struck another vehicle at the intersection of East Route 66 and Fourth Street, resulting in a multi-vehicle crash. The injured were taken to Flagstaff Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries. The officer also suffered minor injuries in the crash. The Department of Public Safety is investigating the incident.
