9-year-old boy sexually abused in Agra

Times News NetworkAgra: A 9-year-old student was sexually abused by the nephew of a principal of a training academy in Agra. The survivor, son of a farmer, was preparing for the Sainik school entrance exam. Police said that on Monday night, other students were woken up by the crying of a child. They noticed that the door of a room was locked from inside. When they peeped through the window, they saw the nephew of the principal of the institution sexually abusing the student. When the children raised an alarm, the accused fled after threatening the victim. Residents of the area said, “The defence training academy has been functioning in the area for the past three years.” Malpura SHO Ishwar Singh Tomar said, “Based on a complaint by the victim’s father, an FIR was registered under Pocso Act and IPC section 377 (unnatural offences). The accused has been sent to jail on the court’s orders. The academy has been closed.”
