Motorcyclist injured in accident in West Rockhill, report filed with Pennridge Regional Police

Pennridge Regional Police have issued citations to numerous drivers involved in five accidents this past week, including one that left a motorcyclist injured.

On June 16, a motorcyclist was injured after a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of Finland and South Sterner Road in West Rockhill Township and was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment, police said.

When police arrived at the intersection, they found that a Harley-Davidson motorcycle and a GMC Canyon had collided at the intersection. Police said the motorcycle crossed the roadway and collided with the GMC. Both drivers were cited as part of the investigation.

On June 18, Pennridge Regional Police were dispatched to Route 313 and Ridge Road in East Rockhill Township for a report of a two-vehicle crash.

According to police, a Kia tried to overtake a Ford Transit because it thought it was turning left, but turned right and rammed the car. No one was injured, police said.

On June 20, a single-vehicle crash was reported in the area of ​​Ridge Road and County Line Road and was investigated by Pennridge Police, police said.

According to the report, the driver of a Ram 1500 pickup truck drove off the road after attempting to pick up a cell phone. Police blamed the driver for causing the accident. There were minor injuries, police said.

That same day, a two-vehicle crash involving an Audi A4 and a Ram 3500 van was reported at the intersection of Mountain View Drive and Clymer Road in East Rockhill Township, police said.

According to police, the driver of the Audi crashed into the rear of the van when it stopped near the intersection.

The driver of the Audi was charged with tailgating, but no one was injured, it was reported.

On June 21, police investigated a two-vehicle crash on Cathill Road in which a Ford Explorer struck the side mirrors of a passing vehicle. Police said the driver of the other vehicle did not stop and the Explorer sustained only minor damage.
